Just a curious survey. What would you guys choose if Jeep was not around? I personally would choose a couple of vehicles in place of my Jeep, LR3 just for that technology plus I have seem them in action and they're quite impressive or Nissan XTerra, simple, nice design, straight forward and styling. What would you choose and why? :)

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
H1--totally kicks a$$,done things and been places with a H1 that a ubber modified TJ's wouldn't be able to go.(H2/H3's are total junk,GM ruined the name:mad:)

UniMog--3000:1 crawl ratio, nothing else needed to know

Land Rover Defender90--No techno gizmo's(reason for not being able to get them anymore here in the states:mad:) and out does most modified Jeeps offroad stock.

But most likely get a F-350,regular cab,long box,power stroke engine,auto ******,and 4wd.

For me: #1. Land Rover Defender 90
#2. Mercedes-Benz. G-Class "SUV" or the Pick-up truck version!
There are a couple cruising around here totally equiped by their
owners that actually get used off road and they are nice trucks!
#3 Good old VW Syncro Vanagon/ Vanagon Westfalia camper van!
Despite their faults and quirks, they make awesome 4X4's.
Sure, they won't go rock crawling or are extreme 4X4's,
but they are alot of fun and you can sleep in them!

I guess that's it for me.

Nissan XTerra, to be honest, If I could have afforded one, I would have bought one over my Libby. If I had it my wat though, I'd still be driving my Izuzu Amigo, but I'm starting to like the Liberty more and more after each mod I do.

Screw gas prices.

I'd get a Hummer H3. I'm not sure exactly why, I think I just like the way it looks. It's not much bigger (inside) than the Liberty... actually it might be smaller in some places.

For trucks: I would get a Ford Early Bronco, Ford F-100, Land Rover D90

For cars: I would be happy with basically any muscle car ('64-'72)

For my dd: a motorcycle
