Yea that was no good...... Damn Ecorse!!
Professional procrastinator and college student.
Also enjoys surveying, detailing, and engineering of different sorts.
Worked turning wrenches for 7-9 years then back to school and now work as a Power Engineer/Stationary Engineer at a hospital.
Prior to becoming disabled due to a work related accident/injury, I was a CATV Technician. I worked in industrial plant fabrication (Hooking up a whole apartment block, townhouse complex, or a city block with Cable/Digital T.V.)
Putting together Cable access T.V. systems on a large scale. Also worked in the commercial and residential installations. Installing Digital T.V. and broadband Internet.
Video security systems-predominantly video surveillance in cassino's, county/regional jails, and CCTV in oil refineries.
State of the art security systems,Nanny cams and home office spy cameras. ie. camera's in a smoke detector's, clocks, text books. You name it!
Occasionally I claim to be a college student and I have an entry level office position. Not sure what I wanna be when I grow up (or if I wanna grow up).
The best it when somebody wants a cable outlet installed right behind a 900lbs wall unit. I then I get to tell them that "They" will have to move it out of the way so that I can work back there.
The come is always: Well, thats what you're here for!
Then Ryan's favorite replyFirst point at company logo on shirt/jacket) See "Shaw cable company. Nowhere does it say Shaw furniture moving. So
NO, I install cable, not move furniture, YOU do that.
What really pisses the customer off most is when you tell them that they cannot have an outlet in that spot (behind said 900lbs wall unit) for what ever reason!
I loved my union job.
We know how to do it here in Green Bay. School and Beer! (beer)(beerthought)
Freight Forwarding, Import/Export logistics management and sales of related services to importers of any commodity from overseas into USA.
Corrections and Custody Officer Level 2 at a Level 3 & 5 facility. Mostly I work in the maximum custody SEG/IMU or doing off site inmate transports. Former soldier in Washington Army National Guard. I was trained as artillery; however, I got my combat patch doing MP gate b!tch stuff.
your exactly right lol.
I love coming up with the details and then drawing them up, but I do have to do a lot of the 'connect the dots' part too when doing the surveys (blarg) I rather do design work any day!
Lewis Black said it best: "I've been drunker here than anyplace else I've ever been in my life. And remember this: You are NOT, you are not alcoholics. You, and, my hat is off to you, you....are professionals."
I design monuments. I'm thinking about going back to school to get certified to teach high school. I haven't decided for sure yet.
