Not sure if this has been done on here in the year or so that I have been around, but if so it's been a while at least. What are your other vehicles currently?

I have the KJ (I need a new pic with the tires and CB antenna!):

My wife drives a 2005 Pontiac G6 sedan, silver. Nothing done to it that's non-stock.

And then I have my 1968 Austin Healey Sprite:

The sprite isn't near perfect. I painted/"rebuilt" it myself as cheaply as possible while I was in college a few years back. I am tearing back into it now. Ripped the whole rear suspension out and am in the process of cleaning/gathering all new parts to put it back in. I then move on to the front suspension in a month or so. Next year I hope to do a "frame up" (it's a unibody) restoration.

So, what do you all have?

Austin Healy Sprite.....VERY nice. That was one of my dream cars.

My other vehicle is a 99 Cutlass. V/6 A/T.......boring sedan but it gets 28-30 on the highway and is pretty snappy for it's 150,000 miles. It runs good and doesn't break down so it is a keeper. ( it does have a broken right rear window regulator...haha)

Currently we have a 2004 Mazda 6 with the 4 cyl which is my daily driver, my fiance drives the Jeep most of the time. She traded her Chevy Venture minivan for the 6, because gas was killin us!

Just took this last weekend, today I swap out the snow tires!

I love driving it (almost as much as the Jeep! haha) and I think it's one of the best looking sporty sedans out there.

Just the Jeep for me now. However, if I get the job I am really hoping for over the summer, I am seriously considering getting a used Ducati for around town and only using the KJ for the highway, driving other people around, or days when it is over 120 degrees here lol.

Btw, I like that Austin Healey. Doesn't look bad at all for a college restoration lol.

The Peugeot is sweet! I wish they made them in the U.S.

...Got the Liberty in the driveway, an 07 Nissan Murano and a 94 Olds Cutlass Supreme.

    We've got our 2004 KJ.
A couple of classic Mini's. One 1976 BMC(British Motor Corperation) The green one and one (the 1979 ) Leyland.

Soon to up load some more photo's.
    And ... Read my signature!
Also in the future I want a Subaru Justy or an early 1990's Suzuki Samurai 4X4 so I can transplant the drive train and vehicles electronics into the '79.

I hope this isnt too far off-topic, but what do you mean by Leyland and BMC? I was under the impression that Mini was always its own self-sufficient company. After seeing Top Gear and seeing everything beyond our boundaries, I have begun to get a new interest in the European classics, but I know nothing about them.

Socks - this is for you: http://youtube.com/watch?v=l3yZtayy_DU

4AGE Sprite Burnouts. Looks like SO MUCH FUN!!!! I'd love to do a MPI 2.8L Chevy/T5 swap, but I just can't bear to part with the 1275. It just...belongs...ya know?

I do plan on throwing a megasquirt on there and beefing up the engine. I already have a Pertronix ignition. I'd also like to do the Datsun 5 speeed conversion with a 3.9 or 3.7 gear to make it cruise.

For all those who don't know these, my '68 is a 1275cc engine with a 4 speed trans. Non-synchro 1st gear. Dual carbs. Rear gear is a 4.22!

Anyone who is looking into one, I recommend it. Fun to have a classic car that gets good MPG and doesn't cost a ton. Much less than muscle cars. Parts are readily available, and they are small and easy to store. I also hear that these are the next big thing as the muscle car market is getting too big and gas prices are going through the roof. They are like a big go-cart. What rules too is it feels fast, and you can really wind it through the gears (and it handles like it's on rails), but you really don't even break the speed limit ;) Keeps my insurance bills low ;)

Ok, to keep it simple I'm going to leave out the dates.

In the beginning you had Austin Mini, Morris Mini, BMC- British Motor Corporation, Leyland and finishing up with classic Mini Rover Motor Group or just Rover. (Cooper,Cooper S and Cooper RSP models were all variants or editions built/ modified by John Cooper Garages using the aforementioned vehicle manufactures/ name sake.)
It wasn't until the BMW Built (ON the original assembly line as the classic Mini)
That the car attained its own (AS you call it) self-sufficient company "Status".

THE original "Classic" Mini was the first mass-produced front transverse engine front wheel drive car in history.
The Mini "Van" variant/ model was the first mass-produced front transverse engine front wheel drive van in history. Unlike Chrysler/ Dodge who liked to believe that they were the first with their Caravan etc. until some 35000+ Mini owners told them otherwise via email alone! :D
The British Automotive association (AA- English version of AAA), Royal Mail, various police departments,Telephone co. to name but a few were among the largest users of Mini's.

    Cheers

    Ryan
