Yes in downward rutted terrain, Get out, look at what you are facing ahead!
It really is best to go as slow as possible, and choose line carefully.
According to video tire blew and whacked suspension? Bent or snapped some shit there I think.
Not good on steering, arms, or ball joints. Big inspection time and then repairs ahead.

what busted?

Nothing is physically broke other than the tire that the side wall blew out on.. Need to get it on the alignment rack and go from there..

I do need steering rack bushings but I needed them before this happened.

Ouch ... Yeah, you saw my bent slider the last time we wheeled. Happened like that on the rocks. At least you didn't bust up anything but the tire.....a DuraTrac even.

Possibly because the tire's sidewall blew out, it protected stuff from getting broken?
Consider MTR's with Kevlar belting & Sidewalls?

One can only hope Tim!!! Dont think any tire would have survied that hit. I hit the rock square running 25 psi in the tires. If I would have been running lower pressure I might have made it..

Next time I'm going to try 19psi..

You did a few things wrong in the video
First and the reason for the damage SPEED
What were you in 4wd high and 3rd gear?
And what difference did you think dropping your tires
7psi from the sticker on the door would do
airing down is going from street psi to at least 1/2 that

I won't go all "armchair general" on you Josh. Shit happens out there.
Heck, if it weren't a bit challenging, it wouldn't be any fun would it
Hope nothing is seriously damaged, and good luck getting the KJ back in business.

I think I'm gonna go a bit slower next time out. I watched the video a few times and you can tell that it (the wheel) moved more than it should. That was a pretty square hit.
