They are telling me that it's snowing here. Looking out my window all I see is rain.
Mid summer here in SA....daily temp. is about 36 Celcius and rains normally come at night.
Winters seldom go below freezing and tend to be dry and sunny.
I have seen snow twice in SA....1964 and 1981.....stupid drivers do not know how to handle snow so accidents all over the place!
Some areas in SA do get snow...in Cape area there are some ski slopes with snow machines helping to augment the snow and some long passes going from low altitude to higher altitudes often get snowed in.
Did two ski trips in Austria....loved it to bits and have a repaired right knee to prove that I was there!
I have done plenty driving in deep snow on my various business trips to Germany/Switzerland......took years off my life!
I've all but given up on this plowing season, which is a major pisser for me.
Agassiz BC -Sasquatch ski resort has 500 persons trapped at resort, after our heavy rains washed out the only road / Rock slide.
For $150 each you can evacuate on a Bell 214ST, and return later once the road is rebuilt, possibly 6-10 days? To retrieve your stranded vehicles.

That dude in the jeep better be going "I got this."
Warmed into the low twenties, snow expected. T-shirt weather!
we're pretty much writing off this winter unfortunately.
Looks like a "Monkey Wrench" has been thrown into our weather today.
Suppose to snow for 11 hours. "Another Jeep Day"
I hate you.
You love snow.
I want snow.
I want the money that snow brings.
I've got no snow.
I've got no money.
So, you love snow, money, and things...
I'm a simple man.
Approximately an inch of ice covering everything. Thanks to Roscoe the Amazing Beagle I am getting quite a ride around town when I take him out.
Pouring here. Been raining since about 11 last night. A little cool, but no ice here (thank god).
33°! It's springtime!
Expecting 6+ inches of snow this weekend, time to have fun
4 inches of snow over night
made the hour commute v e r y interesting
if only people would learn how to drive ...........................
Either learn how to drive or get snow rated tires and know how to drive in snow. I was actually looking forward to some deep snow to play around with my snowmobile and see if my last suspension adjustments work better
Was a little windy here. To the point where I was looking for a house and a crazy woman on a bicycle go flying by.
