Burr... Is the woodstove keeping up to those freezing temps?
Mega mega rain here was 51, and streams are at all time highs as snow melts from mountain tops..
About 10 inches of rain in the last 10 days.
That being said, I think the cold air shortly will be headed our way and snow may be forecasted by the weekend??

Every time they say it is going to snow here they change their mind at the last minute and we get rain. Cold, grey, dreary rain.

It rained, then it snowed, then it rained - all yesterday. Wind blew like crazy later yesterday and through today.

Woodheat's in the shop which I try to keep above freezing. Hard to keep it in the fifties with the stove I have which is a bit small for the size of my shop.

Minus 22° and staying below zero until Saturday with positivly tempting teens.

At least it isn't cold, grey, dreary rain.

Teens last night. Barely up to 40 today. 50s tomorrow and near 60 on Saturday. Rain all the way through starting tonight.

I actually would like to get some snow.

More snow would be nice. Too cold for me to play with the Skidoo and enjoy it. Snow only comes with warmer weather though.

The forcast for the last week has been "warmer weather in 3 days".

    High minus two.

    Must be nice, enjoy!
Our first major snowfall happened overnight & well below freezing expected overnight.
I think the word is icy for tomorrow, with a mixture of more snow?

    I hear that $$ plowing.
We got more on the way..I guess you could call it a "Jeep Snow Day"
Took 30 minutes of warm up time to get windshield de-frosted of all the ice.
Was a bit of work to clear the jeep of the snow.
Wed & Thurs more to come!

Well......the law according to the express...snore snore...….Its not snowmaggedan this time nor a snow bomb or weather bomb....Its now a STORM BRENDAN SNOW BEAST across the UK! So why in the hell then, do I currently, and will for the foreseeable future, (According to the official Met Office) need a set of flippers and a bloody snorkel! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ha ha ha ha ha like hell it is, ITS GOING TO SNOW FOR 5 MINS IN THE HIGHLANDS and everyone will rush to the shop for milk and bread just in case they [Express] are right (which has never ever happened) only to find the only way to see snow is to sit on a high peak in the Cairngorms! O I love the Express ha ha ha ha ha. Is it me or is my sarcasm, sorry, skepticism, just OTT?

how come you no lay tarps on jeep before snowfall? I used to do that on my car, and it made clearing a lot easier.

Normally we get some high winds with our storms, so never thought of that, besides the Jeep needs to breathe !! :D
Last night we got nailed by a huge snowstorm, the jeep is now officially buried. Approximately 11 inches fell, again.

Time to switch from a 4x4 to a snowmobile !
