I'll take my snowy winter tundra over Hawaii any day. I enjoy having separate seasons. I also enjoy complaining about them :D

10F. A little snow expected by tomorrow. Spring is just over two weeks away but it does not feel like it.

I think there was a mistake last fall.
All the clocks were set back a month instead of just an hour.

My family has a weekend cabin reserved in northern Wisconsin in early April...might still have snow on the ground:blah:

Cleared the Jeep of snow this AM, then small hail, freezing rain, then bit more snow tonight.
I've come to the conclusion that...

Warmed up into the thirties and snowed a bit. Days are much longer; dark only happens at night now.

We're always a month late here... April comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb... May showers bring June flowers...

We are finally seeing temps over 20 and 30 degrees. Less than a week ago, we had -20F for a low one night. It's looking mike rain and snow for this next storm. It's going to be a very wet spring.

Snow pack is pretty deep here in the Mississippi valley and next few days they are talking 50* and several inches of rain.
Might be out sandbagging this weekend

….maybe I should have bought that canoe last fall.

Yes I think that arctic cold is finally sliding away.
This is the first time in a month, where we may stay above freezing overnight.
Currently 42F, by next Monday, we may get to sunny & 61F... About time.

Finally got a drop of rain after a summer of record drought and high temps.

Worst summer I've experienced in Alaska with the constant fog of wildfire smoke and incessant delays and noise from two years of road deconstruction. We're only allowed to drive on the road for a year before they tear it up for three years of "improvements" nobody asked for.

Looking forward to snow to chase the road and fire circusses outta here!

    Leaves are falling fast!

Fall is my favorite time of year! It's cooler now and I drink more beer!
The rains will hopefully soon extinguish the fires, but I'm now thinking about new winter tires!
Yes we have chores and winter prep to do. I hope we do get mega snow, because the next fun words is Ski-do ! :)

I have a 1996 Polaris Panther 440 that I bought in March not running for $300, replaced one cylinder and piston and it runs like a charm now. I bought a Kawasaki Mule Pro MX that I am going to put a 6 foot snow plow on for plowing this year as the old Mule 610 doesn't really like starting or running when it is really cold out and that only had a 50 some inch plow so it won't work on the new machine with it being 60 inches wide

We had rain on literally 2 out of every 3 days this spring. (62 days out of 91 days.) The rain continued into early summer, then we've had six weeks of near-drought. I was just looking at the forecast and it looks like our nighttime low temperatures are heading for that range where the leaves fall. Once that happens the snow is not far behind. I like summer best since I do better mentally with lots of sunshine. I do like all four seasons, but I wish summer was six months and the other three were two months each.

Fall has come early to northern MN. We haven't seen 80F for a couple weeks, and August usually brings us 90's. Us bow hunters are hoping for an early rut that peaks before rifle season starts.

I am not sure if I will even hunt deer this year as 75% in this area have CWD. I have the plow mount and winch installed on my Mule Pro MX for plowing snow this winter, just waiting on my 6 foot snow plow for it
