What gaskets are you/have you been using now?
I used the Fel-Pro VS 50594 R, has been awesome and are very high quality gaskets. Have you checked the valve cover bolt torque? Perhaps one or more have simply loosened?

Did you change the grommets too? Don't over-torque.
They come in the box and absolutely SHOULD be replaced along with the main gasket.
I know a lot of people who did their own gaskets, only to skip the grommets for some God forsaken reason.
They head continued leaks and had to tear it down again.
