Hi everyone from Mexico!

I have a 06 liberty lifted with RC kit, please don't throw hate, here we don't have many options and the cost of a Skyjacker it's prohibitive right now, I'm saving for a SAS

However, I need to replace my front shocks, and ordered the Bilstein 4600, but I wish to replace the RC aluminum spacers with this Bilstein shock extensors, 2", what do you think?

I made them custom, more robust that the ones in the picture

Also, I put a picture of my prototype I assembled before sending the pieces to fabrication

Thanks a lot for your replies

All this would accomplish is more extention than stock, but I think your, at least my, uca's contact their pockets and spring with the stock length shock. Extending your shocks would be entirely unnecessary unless you are 2wd and lifting more than 4 inches. Unnecessary complexity.

What do you mean with pockets?

My UCA doesn't touch the springs with actual 2¼" RC lift. Also, it's a 4x4

I'm looking to extend my shocks in order to extend the springs and get a lift without the RC spacers, my objective is remain at 2¼" lift

Where the uca mounts in frame

It will when fully extended

Proper springs (ome) will get you there. The shocks do not provide lift, and the above mentioned interferences will occur even with a stock length shock. Many of us, myself included are running more than 2.5 inches of lift with the bilstein shockyou are working with. Extending the shock will only limit up travel, shock bottoming sooner. I can appreciate the out of the box thinking, but I fear you are headed in the wrong direction. Put it up on a jack stand and let the suspension fully extend with the bilstein shock and it'll start making sense.

Finally I kept the RC aluminum spacers. Got 3½" lift, because the Bilstein shocks are around 9 mm larger than stock, so, it made the same effect as "clevis lift"

I've read so many times about that famous ome stuff, but I'm starting to hate them (lol) I never could find someone that sells them

Alljproducts has no link to purchase them, they only put the prices and that's all, so, I'll just buy a pair of JBA UCAs and keep my RC lift until I get the solid axles for SAS

Thanks for your opinion! I learned a lot

VERY BAD IDEA OVERALL
but you'll find that out soon enough
I've almost read all your posts about spacer lifts, I know you hate them, but right now I can't buy new springs.

I have 7 months old Moog springs with the RC kit, with 11,000 km and I'm very happy with my lift kit, hundreds of kilometers in off road routes and zero complainings

Picture of today's route
