Tow Bar Question..

A guy from up the road has a 2005 Jeep Renegade, I have a 2005 Jeep Cherokee.
I am already removing my tow bar and coincidentally he is after a tow bar for his Jeep.

Will my tow bar fit his Renegade ?

In 2005 the Renegade was a trim level of the Cherokee/Liberty, not a different model as it is today. The differences in 2005 would have been mostly cosmetic. (Is that what you are seeing as well?) The tow bar attachment points should be exactly the same.

Yes it will fit as both vehicles have the same fitments, 2nd hand hand towbars are really worth nothing as their is a safety recall for these Jeeps that involves fitting of a free towbar.

There is a recall for the Liberty fuel tank. The solution was to fit a tow hitch on the back to add protection for the tank.
