Search youtube.com for "Jeep +Liberty +water pump +how-to"

Several videos show you just how to proceed...you'll need basic hand tools...

Your link to the 2005 CRd is pretty good but bear in mind that there are some differences between 2.8 L models....USA ones in particular....and the early Export 2.5 CRD.

So have a look at the service manual specificaly for the Export CRD models...
You can download it here...it is the section marked "2.5_2.8 Export Diesel".
Procedure is basically the same as the 2005 models.....you ideally need to get hold of all the correct tools to lock the gears in place

I am about to get my belt changed by the Dealers....only done about 30,000 Kms since last change but that was about 6.5 years ago and rubber deteriates with time....the idlers and tenstioner should be still OK....too difficult to get hold of the special tools here in SA so I have to use the Dealers.

Download of Export Model: http://www.colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ

Best place for advice on the belt change is at the "Liberty CRD Tech Only" at: LOST JEEPS • Index page

Or go to the "Liberty CRD Love that Torque" section on lostjeeps to ask questions.

As far as I remember on Lostjeeps...they only replace the front end of the water pump but always replace the idler and tenstioner pulleys.

It'´s to difficult for mi.

Yeah I have just checked my 2002 2.5 CRD in at the Dealers for 2nd March to replace timing belt, serpentine belt and tenstioner pulley....cost about $770 estimate!

If I had the special tools I might have done the work myself...lots of videos and advice on the KJ sites, escpecially lostjeeps, but I am also getting a bit too old to do this sort of thing nowadays so will just have to pay the Dealers!:emotions34:

Mo - this is one job that I recommend you get done by the dealer. Without the right tools and a reasonable amount of mechanical knowledge the potential for an expensive screw-up is enormous.

Thank You

You need to replace the entire engine oil sump pan or just the sump gasket? A gasket should be easy to get from a dealer, or from someone like rockauto. Don't know about the sump pan - again possibly rockauto / moparonline, or a dealer OR a breakers's yard - in England I'd look at Charlton Auto Parts. As for actually fitting it, I have no idea what you'd have to clear out of the way to get to it (other than any skid plates) - again, if you don't have the facilities to easily get under the vehicle then leaving the fitting to a Jeep dealer/mechanic (independent or main) would be a good idea.
