Have weird noise from oil fill cap. Bottom end was rebuilt 800mi ago. Any ideas as to what it may be? Video is in thread linked below. Thanks!

Well, it's hard to know, but If I were you, I would take the belt and start motor to check again if it's still on

Checked with no belt and it’s still present

That's is not good. Maybe any lifter is bad.....

That’s what I would hope for over a bear noise. ‍ put too much into it already. Wife is ready to get rid of it at this point and I am starting to feel that way myself.
