So my battery cable ends are bending pretty bad. They were crushed when I bought the jeep and it only has gotten worse since I need to crush them for them to stay on the terminals. I am considering upgrading to military style ends. Has anyone done this? I haven't messed with this ever so any info would be good.

Just for that I'm not helping ... (translation I have no idea)

Ya I was wondering more on the how rather than the what to use. The ends seem pretty simple just a matter of connecting them.

My terminals I keep clean but still am wondering about the OEM metal bar part.
Most of the time you bring the wire terminal end directly up to to the terminal clamp on most applications.

I suppose you would cut some fresh wire back behind that bar and start over.
Not sue how much cable their is to bring it forward though.
This is not the thickest gauge wire either. Hey but my Jeep still starts.

Mine are really clean and for now it still starts. Just worried one day I will go right through that flimsy bar with the bolt and then be stuck. Rather tackle the problem before it is a problem.

All you need to do is get the right ring terminal for the wire and solder it / crimp for a new connection.
