I don't sell my guns. Well, ok, I have 2 for sale, one is "redundant" so I decided it can go, and the other I want to swap from the L verson to the 'normal' version (to match the other 2 normal ones I own.)

so does oakley, (oakley now owns ess as well), it refers to the shaping of the nose piece on the goggle or glasses, most "normal fit" eyewear tend to slide down on an asian nose....the more you know.

picked up 5 more stripped lowers, pair of slings, sling mounting bits, 3 more lower build kits (Magpul STR stock and MOE grip in each, along with all the other parts.)
snagged a drop-in trigger a while ago: Rise Armament RA-140 SST. really nice trigger, especially for the money.
I'll be ordering uppers about 1 month now it looks like, of various types.

Also snagged $1000 worth of ammo. Bring on the HildaBeast! :D

It's been forever since my last acquisition, but ended the dry spell yesterday. Walmart is discounting some of their stock by about 50%. Picked up two Ruger American Rifles at $199 each. It was the only guns they had that were discounted. Got a .243 and another .30-06. Don't really need another aught six but couldn't pass on it for $199!

Ruger needs to build a target version of their American Rimfire.
18" medium-heavy contour, fluted bbl with threaded muzzle.
Drilled and tapped receiver (or Picatinny) and no iron sights
Target stock with raised comb and double forward sling swivels
    Adjustable trigger.

If they release one, I'll be the first in line.

Went up to a gun shop we've never been to (but my husband bought a rifle from their importer side on gunbroker) to look at lever-action .22s. They only had one, so we looked at handguns.

Ended up doing the paperwork on one of these, marked used with almost zero wear on it for ½ retail price. It's a Walther P22 Target Nickel and feels pretty good. Plus it's totally ambi; the safety is the same on both sides and the mag release is that funny little part of the trigger guard. So my righty husband and lefty me won't fight about the controls ;)

It's a nice little 22. You'll want to feed it strong ammo so it will cycle properly every time. I tried some of the weaker plinking stuff in mine and it was NOT a happy camper.

speaking of .22's, I went shooting with a friend recently. he had some new steel he wanted to break in, so I bought a bunch of toys, one of which was my Henry Golden Boy. I also brought some Aguila Super Colibri with me. We shot it sans ear protection. I swear to god, you couldn't hear the round go off. only way you knew it left the barrel was the TINK on the steel and the mark it left. surprisingly accurate stuff too considering!

We've got several boxes of mini-mags just waiting for the first range trip. I had heard that from some other people.

After about 2-300 rounds of mini mags it should eat regular bulk .22. Mine was finicky as hell at first but now eats everything. I still pretty much only use minimags though.
