Finally scraped up the cash to re-gear to 4:10's and add a Detroit TrueTrac in the front D30a. Also replacing both CV axles. Found a great shop that is also fixing an improper set up on a Track Loc in the rear 8.25, and a failed transfer case sensor. So I wake up happy as a clam as it is due to be picked up today and I can start the break in period on the gears. At lunchtime I get a phone call that I also need a new passenger side intermediate shaft (which is OK, I thought i might need it) and there seems to be a power steering leak. I asked them to track it down for me and am awaiting their call back. I had the PS pressure hose replaced last year and the PS pump replaced 2 weeks ago by the stealership. I'm hoping it was something like a loose hose and not a bad steering rack. Fingers crossed as the wallet is already light from the re-gear.
