On a 1-10 scale of mechanical insight, I consider myself to be a 4.5

Things not covered by what I have learned so far are what happens when a strut is "blown", or "blowing".

I just had my UBJs, and LBJs replaced, and I am feeling a little bit of harshness wit h suspension movement, particularly the fast and hard kind.

Doesn't feel like a BJ issue, and they are still tight, top and bottom.

So then the info being requested is just as the title states...

What are the symptoms of a blown or blowing strut.

Your struts are gone now too? My Daystar lift is for sale if you're interested in switching to a lift that works. lol3.gif (I want it on my '06 though...)

Um, here's the scoop.... from what I've heard the front end "dives" when you brake, you hear thumps from the suspension, and the vehicle constantly rolls in turns.

So basically it will just no longer provide resistance. Right?

I dont understand how a lift can affect a strut that much; but peopel claim that the OTT lift is a "strut killer".

When the shock is bad, it wil bounce. The nose diving at a red light is normal, mine does it with the ome shocks.

I was joking, I still want to know if its bad. Also how to properly diagnose them, if I should need to in the future.

Perhaps saying I dont care was a bit rude even for a joke. My appologies.
