Well, it had begun. I cleaned the engine, cleaned the underbody BY hand, and washed it. Tomorrow some sometime this week I will clay, clean, polish, and wax it.

I also took all of the skids off to find that my front pinion seal is leaking. I also sanded and painted all of my skids. Ill get pics of them later on. I used Rustoleum Black Hammered look.

Hyedipins vid that he requested. Its not the best in the work but you get an idea. I sprayed it off(as seen in the vid), sprayed Megs All Purpose cleaner in, then rinsed. I took some old towels and dried everything off. Ive not put any protectant on yet, that will come later.

I didnt break any of the clips getting that pad off! I wanted to spray it out really good since it had some mud marks in it...

Looks like a mouse tried to build a nest at one time. I remember finding some padding on top of the battery about a year or so ago, I guess thats what it was..

Just wanted to do that to show that it wont hurt anything. The way the filter box is made, water just drains out of the bottom and the filter stays dry. I checked it and everything was fine. Started up with a problem and no lights. :)

My filter is getting alittle dirty so I may clean it too.. I like for the K&N to be alittle dirty though so I may leave it.

Blake, thank you so much for the video. I will hose down my engine next weekend. Let's see how it goes.

Thanks again.

LOL. I like how Blake shoves the entire end of the hose into the Air Intake. BTW, was that hooked up to a power washer or just the regular hose?

Blake, I found this "citrus natural all-purpose cleaner" at the local store. I spilled a bit to my hand, it is not soapy at all, and it doesn't bubble too much, I plan to pick that up since it is supposed to be with natural citrus and not much abrasives. I guess I can just spray that, scrub a bit, then hose it off.

Not very long. I would just roll it off a cliff and call it done.
Yep, not much can help that vehicle :)

I always clean the engine area with the vehicle running and just avoid really soaking the battery and computer/fuse area. I've never had success with restarting after washing them if I don't keep them running.

What did you do, then? And where is exactly the computer area, I checked, and it seems all sealed up pretty well including the fuse box in front of the battery.

^^^All before washing it. It wasnt really dirty but I wanted to see how the new filters did that just came today. It had a light coat of dust on it which later on surprised me, you will see why later. I detailed the engine and underbody around a week ago so they do have some light dust on them. On to more pics
