Hey...
I have these strange "clunks" when I wiggle the steering wheel back and forth, I can feel them in my hands holding the steering wheel more than I can here them (but you can hear them for sure as well)

I've found this thread:
https://www.jeepkj.com/threads/knoc...ering-wheel-back-and-forth.58663/#post-666867

talking about tightening the steering yoke adjustment screw... anyone has any idea where this screw is and how tight should it be ? perhaps a picture of the screw location...

any help would be much appreciated !

As far as I know, there is no yoke adjustment on the KJ.
The FSM under steering re clunks states:
Gear mounting bolts loose, lose or damaged suspension components, internal gear noise, loose or damaged intermediate shaft.
Here is the FSM for your 2006: http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/2006-KJ-SM.pdf
Parked with 2 persons available, 1 on the wheel turning back & forth, & other person inspecting, looking for play /clunk noise & movement, see if you can find what's going on.
Anything from steering rack bushings movement, to sway bar end links, ball joints etc should be inspected.

That sort of thing on the kjs is almost always the rack and pinion bushings , have seen them bad enough that you could push the rack up on its bolts like 3"
