ss brake questions

maybe someone can clarify. SS brake hose kit from JBA for an 07. The junction block that's mounted on the rear axle only takes one brake line and the one from JBA takes 2, also the driver side connection to the caliper is completely different. One last thing, this kit replaces all the brake hoses except the passenger side rear (very short hose).

asked this on facebook but ....yeah

also maybe a dumb question but why are the SS lines for the calipers "not to be used on vehicles with ESP'' as stated on JBA site

Probably because the anti-lock/stability system expects a specific line pressure range, and the non-expandability of the stainless lines increases that to something outside the operating range of the ESP system... so that when it activates, it'll be applying more braking pressure than it should.

Just a presumption....
