The 2007 I just picked up has a security lug nut on the spare but it's not the standard one found on the Jeep Liberty, the McGard ones. Anyone know what this is?

Yes appears to be a shorter McGard older locking, but is it a conical base/style?
Our KJ's require a 20 Thread, 60 conical base. (cone end) for rims.
Is that some sort of cover you have on the spare? Can you get the locking one off?

Very nice clean looking Jeep!
I opted not use a locking lug on the spare.

However I did find a good quality bicycle cable lock, with a key!:)

If you don't have the "key" for it, find a socket that is just a touch too small and hammer it on. Should be able to remove it then. Some penetrating oil on it first wouldn't hurt either since the stud looks pretty rusty.
