In order to keep this forum clean and easy to use, we've put in place the following for-sale rules:

General
Please post items of interest to users of this board in this forum. This is for personal sales only, vendors should use the Vendors Alley forum. Any commercial posts in this forum will be unceremoniously deleted.

Title
* The title of your post should include a description of the item for sale, including description and cost.
* For local pickup, note this in the title, along with location if room allows.
* If multiple items, note this in the title.

Description
* We highly recommend posting asking price along with your post, if you don't you'll end up having a number of "How much" posts to follow. If you dont know what to charge, come up with what you would like to get and then add "Or Best Offer".
* Include actual or best estimate of shipping charges. If you plan on charging exact shipping charges based on zipcode, give your zipcode along with an estimation of size of package and weight.
* If your item is for local pickup only (or local pickup available), please note this in your description, and also in the title. If you're posting something for local pickup, it is important (yes this seems obvious but it's not) to give an idea of your location, city/state/metro area is good enough.
* Please note any/all accessories that come with the item. If a particular accessory (bolts, cable, whatever) is not included, please make this plain in your description.
* It is suggested to include picture(s) of the ACTUAL item as it is advertised, including pictures of any/all accessories included. If you do not have pictures immediately available, it is acceptable to indicate this in your post and either edit your post to include pictures or post as a reply. As a general rule, the more expensive the item, the more you need to include picture(s) to help your item sell.

Payment options
* Please include in your description your preferences for payment. There is no need to include email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information in the thread. This should be relegated to Private Messages. Much of this can probably be worked out privately, but giving potential buyers a bit of info about what you expect can help your sale.

Bumping Thread for unsold items
* If your item does not sell within a reasonable period of time, you may bump your post by replying to it. Please do not abuse this privilege to keep your item on top. Abuse of this policy may result in a warning or deletion of the post depending upon the mood of the moderators.

Upon Sale completion
* Once your item has been sold, please post a reply stating that the item has been sold, and if the transaction went well, thank the buyer. This helps to build reputation here.
* Edit your original post and modify the title to include include "[SOLD]".
* In the case of multiple items, please edit your original post to indicate [SOLD] for each item that has sold. Once all items are sold, update title.

Questions?
Any questions, please ask myself or any mod.
