Folks, can you help me out ? I own a 2007 KJ and one of the valves is looking really bad. The aluminum stem is crumbling away and the tire is loosing air through the bad valve. The pressure sensor in the wheel seems to work fine.

I have seen all these valve and stem replacement kits for about 4$, can I just replace the valve and stem or do I need a whole new TPMS assembly for $40 ?

thx,
Tom

I would have to see the sensor itself on the rim, but when i googled it, it's telling me 2007 jeep liberties come with stem-replaceable sensors. If yours is that, then you only need the stem replacement kit for 4 dollars.

Also, make sure you only put plastic valve caps not metal/chrome ones.

Those things can be such a pain in the a$s lol.
