Here's a quick little how to that may help save your sanity. While dissassembling my left front knuckle for a suspension rebuild, I found that the ABS Speed Sensor was a bit stubborn toward removal. In my hasty attempt at removal, I snapped it, leaving the broken tip in the knuckle- flush quality the surface. Now what?
Find a small diameter screw and appropriate sized drill bit:
Slowly drill a SHALLOW pilot hole. LIGHT pressure- let the bit do the cutting. (You do not want to push the tip into the knuckle!):
Thread your screw:
Pull inline with screw (don't break it again.):
Voila:
Drink beverage of choice. Disaster averted. Now go buy another $40 part to replace what you broke...
