Found these instructions Link: http://www.odysseybattery.com/documents/ODYSSEY_Battery_Reconditioning_Charge_Procedure.pdf
Interesting draw it down to 10 volts then float charge at 10 amps & volts 14.7 to no more than 15volts while monitoring.
I guess my c-tek 4.3amp charger really will not cut the grade then.
Since The odyssey battery has been in the sedan for the last years, and recently had a midtronics load test scan stating 711 CCA and a marginal battery...
I decided to remove it from sedan, get it warmed (out of the cold) draw it down to 10 volts & and then have it properly charged at shop.
It seems to have liked it!!

So the Odyssey has now been moved back to the Jeep..

And Alternator output voltage is ok at 14.5 volts.
Hopefully I will still get a few more years out of the Odyssey.
I also found the odyssey approved charger listings, time to find a new charger...

That's interesting TC. I didn't realize you could re-charge AGM batteries like that.

Love the Odyssey in my KJ. Its my 3rd battery (OEM, Sears first two)
in 11 (going on 12) years and by far the best. Deep cycled it about 4-5 times in the last few years and never had any issues recovering it with my Schumacher charger.

15 days later, after normal driving/ALT charging only, I wanted to see how the battery is doing.
Jeep sat for 22 hours in current -5c temps.
I had interior lights set to off & used the key to open door, to open hood, to prevent any major drain.

Using the handy AGM Battery state of charge chart, it is looking good considering it is below freezing.
Odyssey voltage is in the acceptable green zone @ about 85 percent this AM and will start the Jeep no problem.
Edit: Jan 19th had the Midtronics EXP800 load test done again this AM.
Last time it was 711 CCA and a Marginal rating not good.

The initial 10 amp charging worked well. Today we are back to a good rating and 1011 CCA.

Update on my Odyssey battery, almost 3 years later. Battery is now 9.7 years old.
State of charge is currently at 70% and continues to start the Jeep.
I have the C-Tek 4.3 amp charging the Odyssey now.
Currently at 50F, I wonder how it may perform once it goes below freezing.
The Odyssey will not suffer from catastrophic failures, it just slowly degrades over time.
I may assume that potentially in the cold, it may drop to 60 % state of charge soon?
