anyone have any cheap home depot but strong mods for rear tow points? stock ones to purchase are 100 bucks each.

Get a hitch
or
a generic tow hook and some 6" x 1.5 x 3/8 thick C channel
cut the channel to bout 10" long
drill 1 of the 1.5" sides to fit with the fuel tank skid bolts
drill the other side for the tow hook and there you go
I think it was 6" but may have been 5"
I did this on mine pre-hitch and it worked fine

I have a rear mopar tow hook I would sell you!
I had to remove it to install a hitch so I got one that will pin into my hitch... I can't use this one anymore and would love to have a little extra cash, I listed it in the forsale forum. Heres the link: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38923
