Hi All, I need some help/advice about rear pads.
I've got a 2003 KJ and I'm on a mission to replace all my pads and rotors.

Keep in mind I'm not mechanically minded at all but I thought I'd give it a go.
The front two were fine with no problems but I'm having an issue with my rear pads.

I went to an auto parts shop and the pads they gave me don't fit. Every site I look at tells me I need a size of pad that pad doesn't fit. There's also a bit of metal hanging of the side of the new pads that the old one doesn't have also preventing it from fitting.

The rear pads measure up to be about 131mm whereas the ones I was sold measure at about 145mm.

Has anyone every come across this problem?

I'm from Australia and I'm thinking it could be a possibility that they are different in different countries. In Australia they aren't called Liberty's, it's a cherokee.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but then I'm at a total loss with this.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cheers

Those new ones are definitely wrong. I'm not sure what they're for or how they end up in the system for a KJ.

Looks like you were looking at Bendix ones (good choice!), here's the PN from rock auto, which should be right.
