Benefit of vBulletin is that you can rate the threads.
To rate a thread go step up from where you are replying. To rate the thread you just read, before replying, you have a chance to rate the thread:
You can see the ratings of threads by going up on the category or browsing through the threads under categories and sub-categories:
For example
JeepKJ Country > Other > Forum Suggestions and Technical Support

This way, you can help people identify the useful threads, or if someone wants to read most liked threads in a category, for example Water Fountain / Off Topic where there are endless topics, but some of them lost or time-lapsed-- they can simply sort by rating and those old but good topics will come back up and they will have a chance to read them.
