One of the lead dogs in Hans Gatt's winning team at this year's Yukon Quest race is named "Jeep".
Had to buy a new phone:icon_cry::icon_cry:
old one died/ committed suicide and took all my phone numbers, 100's of pictures etc with her.
Now my new one talks to me, she is sweet but .....:STFU:
I never buy high dollar ones, wife and son have the 800-1000 dollar or so phones, mine less than a 5th of that or so, last one was 120 bucks, it lasted over 5 years
Anyone have favorites they use ?
( new one is a cheapie Motorola Moto X 4 )
still have the old phone? send it to me and i'll see if I can recover it.
I've got a new iPhone XR. Since I am on call often, my employer provides my phone.
In the 5 1/2 years I've worked there, I've had 4 different phones...they keep changing providers and we get new phones...
I guess, I like it well enough, but Ive only ever had iPhones so I have no way to compare it to anything else.
I'm not real tech savvy, if work didn't provide a phone, I'd probably have the cheapest simple smart phone I could find.... although I must admit, having all the features, music, great camera is nice
My company pays my phone bill. In return I am required to use a smart phone. (Lots of 2FA stuff.) I am a real techie kind of guy but never wanted lots of bells and whistles on my phone. I miss my old phone that just did calls/text. Much smoother and it fit in my pocket...
Yes still have the old one
I sure would appreciate it
It's amazing to me that some people come on here, LostJeeps , Jeep Forum and other sites I am on. They have a problem, ask for help, then when you do tell what to check or what is wrong,.....no that can't be it.
Simply amazes me, used to before internet/computers you could smack them up side of the head when they came to your place or at others garages and asked ya .
Come on by Tomm, I'll smack you upside the head...
Too knowledgable... smack!
Too right... smack!
Too kind... smack!
Too generous... smack!
You know I'm just talking smack.
Enough with the new forum platform stuff, let's get this thread going again. Congrats to our new moderator, not sure when that happened, but I only noticed when I logged on and everything was different. If it's been "years" then I never noticed. Anyway LibertyTC, congrats. And to our resident Moderator Tommudd, keep on truckin'.
I am trying to cancel my Internet/TV package. Suddenly there is no one who wants to talk to me.
I am sure they will beg me to come back. I had the new service hooked up yesterday. The old company's wire is sitting at the curb in the trash right now.
Trying to cancel is way worse than trying to get service in the first place
Things is, I expected grief so I have been cagey about what I need help with. Just "I have a question about my account..."
If/When I get them live on the phone it's gonna be "Yeah, my account question is: How friggin' fast can you close my account?"
You'll be transferred, please hold...
I've been having trouble with my cable box for a few weeks. I don't watch much cable since I have AppleTV, but it's still annoying when I want to watch Forged in Fire.
I finally told them that I was just going to cancel my TVcable and go to just internet. Suddenly... "You can pick up your new box tomorrow"
I'm still going to drop the "Silver" package when I get there tomorrow, since I don't watch much of the extra channels anyway and have AppleTV also
How come I'm getting some notifications and not others?
Some notifications make it into my inbox, some into my spam folder. There is no rhyme or reason...
And here I thought that crap was behind us...
The loons are back, I'd been lonely.
Police Officer, "You've been drinking beer, I can smell it on your breath."
Driver, "No, I've been eating frog legs, what you smell is the hops."
Scored a free 4# sledge hammer picking up trash along the highway.
Snow's gone, sandhill cranes are back.
