Since moving to the city, I'm shocked by the amount of cars I walk passed missing at least 1 lug nut. Sometimes 2 on the same wheel.

Since my WK2 has been debadged, I think I'll add these when I get the mods going.

Dang. Had to jump on that deal. Out of the fleece, so I got a 98 cent spinnerbait instead.

I keep hearing people having trouble getting the fleece. Too bad, I'll let you know in a couple hours if it was worth the $0.98 :D

My old spare kind of disintegrated on me this weekend, so I temporarily put on the spare spare. I put this one together just because I couldn't bear to get rid of that old RYL Eagle #1. It normally sits perched on a hook on my back patio, just 'cause it looks so damn cool.

I scoff at the whole concept of "social media" because I'm an old fuddy-duddy who values his privacy and resists change but I've got to say it's fun visiting you folks and nice to be able to offer advice without being sucked in to the whole adoption and free-wrenching gig.

Hmmmm - WK has 64k on it, and 2 tires have an annoying slow leak, and 1 now has a plug after running over a screw last weekend. I think it's time for those Goodyear Fortera's to go....but for me to put some decent rubber on it, I need a lift. The wife is actually encouraging me as she's noticed the worn suspension and the tires make her nervous (tread is great BTW - previous owner replaced the originals in ~2013?)

That Kolak guy quoted me $780 shipped for OME MD's (shocks and springs). Really can't justify the cost for Al's UCA's given my usage...I had the MD with Rancho on the KJ for 65k miles with no issues....thinking for peace of mind, I'll replace the UCA's with Moog Problem Solvers - $167 shipped from RockAuto.

I debated doing the Bilstein 5100's, but he recommended OME as it "wasn't much more" and he felt it'd be a nicer ride...I told him I don't need it to ride on rails, I want a comfortable ride.

Throw on a small spacer on the front (the solid aluminum one that goes over the upper shock mount) and an extra isolator or two in the rear, and it should be good to go mall-crawlin'.

I'd go OME, I like the way mine ride over the Bilsteins. Little softer but nowhere near Brougham territory!
