The cicadas are coming........
wish that my wife knew how to balance her damm checkbook
Saw that on the news a few days ago. :uhoh2: This is gonna be the first time I've ever seen em come out. (Last time I was one so I don't remember)
We had them a few years back. And we live not too far from forest preserve/river. Lets just say, stick to using your AC and don't roll your windows down or roll topless. One lady left her top down in her car, she had to pull over in emergency as they swarmed her car. I remember going to my car that was parked outside and seeing them on my tires. As I drive away, they fling off :rotflmao:
I have never seen even one up here. I don't think they get this far north in NY but there might be some in southern NY and on Long Island or down there somewhere in NY and of course where you are in NJ and south.
ThunderbirdJunkie had one bounce off his chest while riding his bike. Lots of them, but one in particular deflected up into ThunderbirdJunkie's helmet. And crawled around. On the freeway. That was the last time that year he rode his motorcycle.

I remember that. We didn't get too many here, and I don't live that far from you.
wtf.gif are cicadas? I'm in So Cal and have never heard of these, are they a type of locust/ grasshopper? headscratch.gif

Omg, do they really get that bad?
Some areas got that bad the last time they were here... we didn't get too many where I live.
They're harmless though. Just big and loud.
I know they're harmless I just don't want to have a huge swarm all over the Jeep when i need to get in :hunter:
Good luck! lol3.gif
WD-40 and a lighter should do the trick!:weld:
Only if you don't like the paint on your jeep.
Loud is right! .. clocked at 94 decibels
Yeah, they're crazy-loud. eek2.gif
They were everywhere here last year. Hope they find someplace else to go this year.
