    Can't just blame the employees...

Sometimes we get garbage parts from the suppliers. Sometimes we notice the bad parts, sometimes we don't.

Big Day here at Casa De SurfGuitar......

First off this morning....two pistol competitions to shoot.....

Then later this afternoon we'll be hosting a family party for my Mother-in-Law's 75th Birthday in the newly renovated back yard.....(assuming we don't get hit with the thunder storms predicted)......

    The lawn is freshly cut.....
The propane tank on the B-B-Q is 3/4 full.....
Every lawn, camping, and beach chair we own is set up......
Citronella candles and Tiki torches set up.....
Fire pit loaded with wood and ready to light.....

Only thing left for me to do is pick up ice on my way home from the shooting range to chill the soft drinks for the kiddies, and beers for the adults.......

The following is a collection of stupid things said by middle managment at work this week.

I was pulling an empty propane tank off one of the forklifts to swap it with a full one. The shipping manager walks by an asks, "Is it empty?":pp:
I answer, "No, I'm just taking the rest home for my grill."

The web press was continuing to blow a certain (10amp) fuse in one of the control panels. As I was looking at the wiring diagram, trying to figure out what the fuse protected, the purchasing manager hands me another fuse and suggests "Just put this 30amp fuse in so it won't keep breaking":pp:

This is the same manager who scolded another employee for not locking the door to a building they are renovating. The same building that is missing an entire exterior wall section:pp:

6pak.....sounds like you work for some real brain surgeons there......or are they just Harvard grads.......:happy175:

It was beyond Africa Hot out at the shooting range this morning, but I managed to sweat through our steel plate match hitting 12 for 12 plates in just over 30 seconds for the win.....

Didn't fair as well in the following match, I choked, only shot a score of 107 for a third place finish.......:pp:

Now I'm praying the thunder storms don't hit us, my house will be full of in-laws in another hour and a half, I don't want to be stuck inside with these people as my tolerance level for them is low, they're much easier to deal with when they're all outside.......:freak3:

Got the new LCA's on the G6 this morning and got it aligned. Cleaned up the Camaro and the G6. Really need to take a weekend and put some time and effort into the paint on the G6. Feels like damn sandpaper!

Clay bar treatment Kevin.......it works wonders.....

Well the thunder storms held off long enough to cook all the dogs and burgers on the grill, but it wasn't long after that we had to do the scramble, get all the new patio furniture cushions into the garage, put out the candles and tiki torches, and get all the kiddies inside. The real bummer was my Harley got caught in the rain, didn't have enough time to get it back in before the first down pour hit, but worse than that was being stuck in the house with the Adams Family.....:freak3:

    Clay is great.

I just did the LR3 less than a month ago, but it got sprayed with something and the front end feels like sand paper. Time to clay it again I guess.

My daughter and her fiance held their "Gender Party" this afternoon to publicly announce what their first baby....(our first grandchild).....is going to be......

My wife and daughter made cupcakes and filled them with the appropriate colored icing, the biggest challenge was keeping attendee's from eating the cupcakes prior to the official time. Once that moment arrived we distributed a cupcake to everyone there, then my daughter told them all to "dig in"......

the icing was blue, and my first grandchild will be a boy.....:badger_1:

Breanna and ThunderbirdJunkie did that with a cake that was colored. Grampa asked "Eric, what color do you want Ot to be?" The reply was "if it's chocolate I'll be annoyed."

    Congrats Surf!
