Just woke up and we have 6-8 inches (it started at 2AM). Supposedly it will continue snowing all day.

Wow, scratch that! There's at least a foot out here. It is up to my knee.

SO jealous.... I wish we can get a foot here. All we got in DC was 1-3.

Ohhh well atleast it was enough to get a few people to meet the ditch.. Made 120 dollars last night pulling random people out!!!!

It's still snowing like crazy here. We have about 15 inches at this point and the snow hasn't slowed down a bit.

Question: If I was in 4LO and spun my tires a little, is that absolutely terrible? I felt it spinning so I stopped, dug out some snow, and then it was fine but when I moved I saw that there was a bit of pink fluid near where my rear axle was. I'm assuming it fluid from the transfer case?

Here's what my predicament was. I'm surprised I even got up as far as I did:

I basically did half the plow guy's job with my front bumper.

Ready to run version runs around 300 bones, minimum 25-30 bucks each for a couple batteries and figure in about 40 bucks for a charger.

Can't run the fast stuff in the living room, so it's way fun to stack up a bunch of crap and run your own King of the Hammers:icon_twisted:

Well, I am temporarily immobilized in my friend's driveway. There about 18 inches now and the radar is showing that it's going to continue snowing well into the night.

If I had a lift, I could probably get out. I'm pushing all the snow with my bumper :) Inside with warm banana bread is where I will stay.

So it is still snowing hard here and I got back to see that the snowplow dude filled the front of the driveway with about 2 + feet of snow and ice chunks and I drove right through it and left skid plate drag marks down the center of it....haha

We got lucky.....sort of.....it started off as rain last night, changed to sleet, finished off with about 3" of snow. At least the snow gave us some traction this morning on the solid ice pack under it, this afternoon it was all ice. Temps are supposed to be well below freezing for the next couple of days.....

    We had snow!
Several drivers demonstrated their awesome driving skills.
Now just a few hours later it's all gone off of the roads.
Weatherman says it's gonna snow again tonight...

our pussified snowstorm lasted for about a day, and didn't drop more than 2 inches..

was enough to cover the roads in ice though.. spent 3 hours just cruising around town as an excuse to use 4WD.. used about a quarter of a tank.

Snow pile I was next to at a stop sign earlier this evening. It was well above my hood. There's still another 5 inches on the roads they haven't paved yet...and it's still coming down.

This is the second most we have ever had.

Hey Matt, I'm happy to see that your pup is getting better. And Ashley, just make some hot chocolate and sit it out. Or, go outside and make some dirty snow angels.
