Greeting,

I just measured theheight on my stock 02 Pre lowered liberty. I've read 19-3/4 is the norm.

I measure 19-3/4 at the rear and 19 in the front.

Question is did these come from the factory 19-3/4 front and rear or is the 3/4 difference in the front the norm due to the added weight in the front end.

Thanks in advance

All vehicles typically have a 'rack' to them so when you have a load in the cargo area/tow a trailer, the rear wont be completely squatted.

The springs have probably sagged a bit over the years too.

KJ due to weight up front may sit lower than rear.
Stock/OEM was about 19" up front from bottom of flare to center of wheel cap.

Depends on build date
Before April 12, 2002 they were 19.75 after that date 19
Lot depends on where you actually measure but unless you have aftermarket suspension or someone did a clevis lift none would still be 19.75
I've had them roll into my shop 1.75 lower than new stock with 78,000 miles on them

Mine is pre-lowered built before April 02. I measured from the center of the wheel cap to the bottom of the flare.
My Jeep is not lifted but very low miles 54,000.
The rear sits at 19-3/4 and the front at 19
So from the factory the front was 19-3/4 too? Or was it at 19 due to the extra weight up front?

As I posted before
BEFORE April 12, 2002 it was 19.75 in front \AFTER that date 19 inches
this was done with springs, nothing else as others have posted over the years
and you can not buy those springs anymore
