products for cleaning matte black paint

i'm getting close to being done with DIY paint job......satin black. all the time i have in it has motivated me to keep it clean. what is the best stuff to get rid of water spots, etc. scratches arent a big deal since i can just touch them up.

So is your paint matte black or satin black?
Back in the 1980's I had a satin black Mini and I washed it with dish soap so that there was no wax being applied to the paint finish.
I then used Pledge furniture pollish spray.
It gave the finish just the right amount of luster without being to shiny.

Now if your paint finish is matte, then you want a vehicle soap that doesn't apply wax or your paint will become satin in appearance.
