Hello ,

Last week I had to use smaller size tire by temporary..
My tires are 265 / 70 / 16
One of them has damaged so I have changed it with smaller spare tire. ( rear - right ) 225/70/16
I m not sure is it affect badly to transfer case if I use my liberty ( 2005 ) with full time mode ??
My liberty has not axle locking system at the rear axle..
I wold be pleased if you send your advice about this point?..

If anything I would run it up front and then only a short distance till you get the right size on there
There is a 1/2 difference in height , while it doesn't seem like much it is in the overall performance of your KJs
I would not run it in any 4x4 mode at all
And get the right size ASAP

the thing that I could not understand is although the between the rear tires the rear differential ( pinion gears inside ) should tolerate the difference of the tires so I thought I could use the 4X4 full time mode.. because I don't have the lock system in my rear differential...
on the other hand, it is not adviced using different size tire in the user manuel of the my liberty as you can see at below...
