Hi

Just spending a few days here walking and driving.

I was last here in my Jeep Cherokee XJ 7 or 8 years ago, and I did plan on driving some of the routes again.

Unfortunately, a couple have been closed off, and the third one was blocked by snow!!!

A few photos attached of the snow blocked route, and one of the sign stopping me from driving the others.

Took the southern route out of Potes and went drove over the passes in snow.

Next day in Galicia, plenty of sunshine.

Saw a modded KJ, a member of the Galicia offroad club. Unfortunately, my Spanish was not good enough to say hello. Must remember to make and bring some Jeep KJ country calling cards next time.

Nice pics ivanidea. Looks like a fun trip even though part of it was closed off.

Would you like practice Spanish? Why don't you to visit http://www.jeepkj.es? They are happy to help whenever you need it.

Nice pics. How high are those passes?

The white out on the Asturian border / pass was about 1500m.

We encountered snow at approx 1200m and above.

The tarmac roads were cleared through use (and snow plough). The dirt roads just wait for the snow to melt (probably in June).
