We definitely recommend Costa Rica! It was an awesome trip!

I'll wait a bit and post it later. See if anyone else can see it.

So continuing on our night tour, we saw a variety of creatures. A grown Viper, thankfully way up in the tree.

But also saw a younger/smaller viper, up close.

Saw a Tarantula about 10 inches into his den. couldn't get a pic of that big guy (it was big!)

Next morning we did a coffee, chocolate and sugar cane tour.

In the afternoon we did a hanging bridge hike.

Yep, yours truly on the left, then our son, Mrs. yours truly, our youngest daughter, my oldest daughter's partner, and our oldest daughter on the far right.

Me climbing up about 30 feet INSIDE a tree.

And then the bird pictures start! And there are a lot!

Ha no I don't think there is one there. Here it is! Look and you'll see the antennas and legs. We also saw it move at the time!

Thanks! So I have a ton more but that's enough. Those pretty much cover the trip. I managed to get a bunch of good Hummingbird Pics, of all things.Oh wait! I have one more that I saved for last! While down there I bumped in to no other than Tom Mudd! And actually, if you look closely, I think he's running 1-1/2 inch spacers on that bad boy!

I got into photography when our son was going to get married.
I bought a Sony a390 dSLR with the 2 kit lens and done a class and I have not looked back.
The camera served me well and then it got to the point where I had out grown it and got myself a new Sony A77. With double the megapixels.
I don't know it all but I will not sit here and say I am a beginner at it now.
The one thing with this hobby is that you can like a shot and I can hate it.
But then there will be a shot we both will like.
We all have to think that at some point is where we all started from.
I now need to learn to post up photo's here as I know my last attempts here the picture new showed up only like a link to them.
But this is a hobby where we can be going for the same thing yet get different results as we look at it in different ways.
Keep enjoying taking your shots as I know I will.

I started photography at 16 worked in a studio for 4 years and began working as a photographer for a motorsport magazine in those days it was all film. Eventually I got married and gave it up for 10 years and got divorced and took it up again. I still get a thrill when I pick up the camera. I believe the shot is created in your mind before you click the shutter. What's in your mind is always going to be different to someone else's doesn't make it invalid.
