It tucks right up under there like it was made for it. Super excited. Now I’ll have propane for my kitchen stove without having to use the 1 lb Coleman bottles that cost $5 a piece for $0.70 worth of propane.

The next phase of the build is to install this Propex heater and run a gas line to the new tank.

The tank is originally from a 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia camper. The guy I bought it from installed a newer bigger tank on his rig. This tank has a 3 gallon capacity (10 lb. of propane). Not quite as big as your average 5 gal barbecue cylinder but travels a lot better.
