Orange Poppy Seed Cake 1 Package white cake mix 1 Package instant vanilla pudding ½ cup orange juice (or milk which produces a denser moister cake) ½ cup water ½ cup vegetable oil 5 eggs 2 tablespoons poppy seeds 1 tablespoon almond extract Mix all together for 5 minutes with a hand mixer. (5 minutes creates the proper density/chew) Coat a bunt (or tube) pan with spray vegetable oil. This is crucial it must be liberally applied to get the cake out later. Pour all the ingredients into the pan Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or when you can put a toothpick in and it comes out clean. Cool slightly before removal from pan. Make sure you cover after you remove it from the pan so all the moisture doesn’t run away. Eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner until you make another.
