Dont carry ha ha its 2.5 inches concealed. The open carry law is cloudy though. Seems there is no set length on it. Until someone complains. Then it could be considered disturbing the peace or something.

For my birthday my wife got me the Spyderco Ambitious I have been wanting! It is the mini counterpart to my Spyderco Resilience. Quite a neat little blade and feels good in my hands. I do not need a large blade for in the office and it fits much better in dress pants pockets. I attached some comparison pictures.

This thing is beautiful. I went with the foliage green(grey) version opposed to the stacked leather. The kraton handle feels great the blade is sharp not scary sharp yet. Right out of the box shaving hair sharp. Love it and for $60 best knife i own. I mean compared to my sog aegis which i got almost 2 years ago which was nearly $100. My sog is my everyday carry has been simce day one this will be my bedside buddy.

Well for $68 the best knife i now own is the BK2 this thing is a tank of a knife. Made of the same 1095crovan as the kabar fighter but the bk2 is 1/4" thick. Beast of a knife cant wait to get out and really use her. Ten minutes after i got her i went out back and did some light unnecessary chopping. Mmmm Chopping.

Hit the grind with 600 grit to smooth it out.

Beat the heck out of the bk2. So i striped it and ordered some east india rosewood handles. Forced a patina to give nice two tone look.

Havnt been doing much with my blades. I stripped and electro etched every one of them. I daily carry my bk14 its the perfect knife for the city. Just barely illegal for chicago so i havnt been bothered about it. I keep my bk16 in the back seat of the jeep just in case and a boker plus on the drivers seat belt cover. Its a tough city cant carry a gun so 3 knives should ward off most dangers.

    Still a Nice Knife !

Added another light weight but quality Maximum, that came razor sharp out of the package, has belt clip as well.
Seems like a sturdy, very well constructed aluminum, a tad smaller than the Jeep knife.
