Good afternoon all, in a mere 2 hours, I will be the proud owner(with the bank's help of course) of an '06 KJ Sport, with 57k miles, new shoes (Yokohama Geolandar AT-S 245/70R16'1), all for $10,200 (the loan is more b/c of upside downed ness in the old car) speaking of the old car, 2000 Dodge Stratus ES, was a fine auto, but she's old, had 116k miles, needed some work. I'm quite excited about being a Jeep owner, at one point long ago I had an '83 Land Cruiser, and haven't had a decent 4x4 since. First things first, EVIC!

That's all I got for now! :)

now, to add some pix..

Well, I definately need to get the windows tinted, and I definately want the EVIC unit I've read so much about on here! All I'm puttin into her at this point is cheap/easily removed stuff. My Alpine H/U it going in tonight and my sub and amp this weekend. I have 66 payments to go on this so I don't want to sink much into it just yet.

Welcome! There's a bunch of info for cruise control on here. ;)

Congrats and enjoy it!

Yeah, that's a must, I saw somewhere on the interwebs the other day a kit for cruise, but it was a side stick (like a turn signal stick) that said it was for an 06 Libby, anyone ever used one of those?

I'll see if I can find the link.

hmm the pics look right.. but for your 06 the cruise control should be on the settering wheel where your thumbs go ( look at the top pic)

i would call them and ask them before you order.

Even though I'm new, as well, I welcome you to this place! :p

My '06 has Cruise Control on the steering wheel, but no one would know since I have yet to provide pictures.

Welcome!
and that is weird that there isn't cruise?
Also window tinting will make it look 10x better :D

I thought the same thing, I figured cruise was standard equipment by the 21st century... anyway, I'll get that fixed in due time!:)
