Had brand new black rock 997s installed, same suspension, same tires....just changed rims...now when get on the brakes I get wobble (side to side) in the front.

The only thing I think it might be is when installed my installer wanted to put all the weights in the back of the rim and none in the front.....will this cause my wobble or is it more serious and what damage am I looking at?

If it was a balance issue it would be all of the time, not just when applying the brakes
Are you sure they are tight and they were not over tightened?
Also could be one of the beads did not pop out all the way, but that would or should give you some wobble even without applying the brakes.

I watched the beads set and they installed them with 1/2 impact....the only thing they were unsure of is not putting any weights of the front of the wheels

Is it possible that they damaged the rotor or caliper on one of the brakes during the installation of the new wheels? Any noise related to the wobble?

Maybe oil or curd on one of the discs?

I think the most important question is:

Did they use a torque wrench?

probably not
how ever neither do I or for that matter most shops
if they simply tightened them down all the way 1 at a time
then that is your problem
I go hand tight ,until I can not wiggle the wheel
then a little at a time in a "star" pattern to finish the the job

*note*
some shops use "torque sticks" on the impact
not sure about these but I dont have wobble from uneven torque

I do the same just with an electric impact. I first go in a star pattern with the impact, but I only hammer for a second. then I put 'er down and use my torque wrench in a star pattern. I always get them too tight when I don't use the torque wrench.
