Just brought a 2005 liberty having abs brake speedometer issues replaced sensor in rear check the plug and it's been replaced have new one coming just in case any where else I need to look or sensors that I need to replace thanks Tom

Hopefully a new harness will fix your issue.
There was TSB issued for all 2005 KJs.
The Factory filled up the rear diffs with incorrect oil that chewed up the sensor!
The fix was to take your 2005 KJ to a Dealer who would drain and clean out the rear diff, fill up with the correct oil and fit a new sensor.

So hopefully your rear diff has the correct fluid in it!

Saw one post from a KJ owner who got the same error...removed the diff sensor and found small fragments of metal on it!:eek:

I wonder what oil they used in the rear diff?
I'll resarch it later today after work.
