Not so new to Jeeps, I've owned a few WJs which I loved but could never do what I wanted to do with them(the wife). Now I'm minus the WJs and the wife but have a KJ.
Out here there is no great off-road places to put the jeep to the test but some of our winters will. I would like to take it up into the mountains to the north and do some "Jeep camping".
So anyhow I'm Zed and am looking forward to some good conversations here.
Oh, BTW I have a 05 limited with Selec-trac in very good stock condition. I would like to do a lift 2" or so and maybe a rear locker(you never know when you would need it ;>)
OH crap do I sound like a troll? Sry

Welcome,
Used my selec trac continuously in all 4 positions since Thursday.
Did 100 miles on the nastiest roads that I have ever been on.

Boy does it ever save the brakes from heating up going down 12-14% grades for 4 miles on switch backs.
