Hi all, just joined. Bought a 2003 Liberty Freedom not long ago. Salvage title but got a good deal, couple minor issues I’ve mostly squared away. Do have an issue with the horn, it’s clicking but no sound. I lurked for a bit and saw potential fixes, I assume it’s a fuse at this point, or at least I hope but the radio still works so maybe not. I found and opened the interior fuse box but it appears…different than what I’m seeing on here. I preemptively bought the 15A fuse to replace but in its spot is a 10A and the entirety of the fuses (the colored plastic part) look smaller than what I bought. I’ll work on getting a picture soon for reference.

Anyways, cool to be here and look forward to learning some things!

Put a voltmeter across the horn and measure the voltage...you expect to get +12 volts there.....if not then check that the earth-side of the horn is in fact going to Ground and that +12 volts is there with respect to chassis/engine!

Have you checked the fuse-box under the hood?

Johnny O has posted a nice link to all (most) of the various year specific KJ Manuals!

Run a wire , well attach it to the positive side of horn, and touch to battery, if it blows then you've ruled out the horn being bad
Then start tracing wires back through to see if one is pinched/ broken/ cut ............
