I'm not new to Jeeps in general having had 2 x XJ's a ZJ, 4 x WJ and now my second KJ.
Absolutely detested the 2.8 CRD manual I had some years back and immediately returned to a 4.0 XJ. Had a play with a 4.0 ZJ but found it a gutless slug then found V8 WJ's - still have a 4.7HO with far too many issues despite a dealer history and immaculate condition...... so here comes the second KJ - a 2.8CRD Limited Auto which is the replacement for the troublesome WJ...... first impressions so far are favourable.
It's a pleasant enough machine with acceptable comfort and refinement but lethargic performance compared to the ** V8, however the extra torque is welcome in a hilly area. Let's see how I get on with this....

Welcome to the forums.
Even though I have never owned a CRD, sometimes I wish I had the extra pulling power.
Hopefully you find the auto CRD to be a better experience overall.
