Hey guys- my quest for front suspension noise continues and things are going bad.

My front suspension has been making noises when i hit a potlole. alignment was done, my JBA UCA's are brand new and the noise is driving me mad.

I lifted the jeep today and started checking. And i think i got it. as we all know the UCA's connect to the chasis on 2 points. (excuse my english)- there is some slack there. the rubber bushes are NEW and it still has some play. we checked and double checked- and it seems that the bolt holes have expanded a bit. on the driver side. that is why i have some play.

I honestly dont know what to do. any ideas?

Please take photos of your upper control arm and ball joint installation for us and post them here. It will help us know if anything looks wrong. I remember you also mentioning incredibly poor handling. We could maybe see if anything in the picture could be causing that too.

thanx. it will be taken care of but not asap....

Its not my daily driver - and usually i get upset about this stuff and it takes me a while to mess with the jeep again. its like "finally!!! it works!!! wait....no it doesnt".

just got back from a 2 day trip..hard wheeling..need some rest, me and the jeep. we have a saying - "what's far from your eyes is far from your mind". its like "if i cant see it- i cant get upset".

If you've stretched the bolt holes out where the uca's mount you could weld a large heavy washer over it to get yourself a round hole again.

these things gave me a lot of grief. the bolt hole on the drivers side became a bit oval. some welding was done at the shop- its ok now
