my poor baby

I've only had you for 43 days...you were beat down by....a street sweeper, but don't worry, I'll get you fixed.

So some idiot driving a street sweeper of all things decides to rear end me today, I'm glad that the spare tire is mounted on the tailgate, as it took the brunt of the hit, however, the sheet metal underneath took a beating and has been creased, probably have to be replaced...ugh. and my neck is sore. that is all.

I'm pretty sure his insurance will have to pay, he was cited for careless driving and in my town the cops don't assign fault for whatever reason, I walked away ticketless, so my insurance said that the ticket will show fault.

Well, I'll be getting a check in the mail in a few days for nearly $2400 bucks...wow, that's a spendy door! Anyone know where I can order a prepainted door? :)

Mine was almost 1700 and it wasn't even noticeable except to me. I even had the inside panel replaced because it broke some of the pegs that fasten it to the door. Make sure the lock and wiper still work too. that $2400 might evaporate pretty quick. You have bumper damage too. I'm not sure what that would cost. I would check around the door jam too to make sure it isn't bent. It looks like it is in your last picture over to the left. The weather stripping dips in. He must of nailed you!
