Manual Swap?

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L it has a 4 speed auto that ****** ****** fluid and gave me a pretty little light that reads P0700. I've been looking around trying to find if i can manual swap it but i can't seem to find anything on the topic. Hoping i can find the help i need here.

yes, you can.
it's a lot of work.
you'll basically need an entire donor jeep.
