Have early model 08 Liberty with Off-Road Package. Recently went with RevTech 2.0/1.25 level kit; however, was told that the rear parts did not fit correctly because it was actually a Wrangler suspension. Alternate parts found and installed. Jeep looks level. PROBLEM: have lost 40+ miles to the tank. Expected to lose some but not this much and certainly not just by leveling. Feedback is that this shouldn’t have happened. At a decision point of backing it out. Looking for feedback from folks that have leveled and what their experiences have been. Haven’t touched wheels / tires yet but hate to think of the mileage impact with what I am already seeing.

First of all you bought a junk lift to start with, very bad
plus you should not of lost than much unless you are trying to run much larger tires
If you were here at my place with those issues I would advise you to start over and do it right from the get go

sounds like you have been sold a dead horse

Thanks. Sort of had that gut feeling. Any recommendations? I only find an 08 kit through them. Makes me thinks it’s not designed to level/lift in the first place.

All Liberty's KJ and KKs have the same front suspension from 02-12
Only difference is the upper and lower control arms springs and shocks are the same
rear shocks are the same when you lift as well but different springs
You can lift them
I've done mostly 02-07 KJs but have also done 4 KJ ( 08-12 )
stay away from any spacer kit, they will wear out front end parts way faster and cost you more in the end

KK’s look good lifted. This is a 4” JBA kit (no longer available unfortunately) that is probably sitting at 3.5” now since it has been on so long.

You can get close to this with OME springs and a clevis lift in the front and some extra isolators in the rear. JBA upper control arms are needed for a good alignment at 3” and above.
